SPOUT IS THE MOST REQUESTED BAND ON 102.9 THE BUZZ's ON-AIR BATTLES FOR 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT.
The Buzz decides to continue the Radio Battle competition throughout April and May as well, and SPOUT IS THE WINNER AGAIN getting the most requests for the entire month of March, April and May!

The Buzz - Battle - On Air. - Spout wins first round!   With 80% of the votes, Spout won the first on-air match of 102.9 The Buzz's Local Buzz March Madness Battle.  Check it out. 
We weren't even aware of this battle taking place until a week after we'd already won it.    So, needless to say, we're aware now and we appreciate the Buzz featuring us on the first week of the battle.  Now, we move on to the finals - on March 27th.

Welcome DAN.  Welcome ADAM.
Spout fans...  Come here. There are two people we'd like you to meet.  Their names are DAN and ADAM.  They have been rocking out in various bands together for over 5 years and last month they decided to audition for Spout together.  Holy shit, we're glad they did. We were blown away not only at how well they already knew our songs but how much we felt they added to them.  The four of us jamming was effortless.  It didn't feel like an audition.  It felt like we were preparing for a show.   They fit in to all the checklists we needed and oh yeah, they're sick and twisted just like Chad and I.  Important!  So everyone give them a loud and warm welcome.  We've been hanging with them all month and there's no doubt they've got our stamp of approval.
The four of us can't wait to rock out on stage together , but now it's time to hit the studio.

Update from Spout.
After having an awesome acoustic show on the 19th, Spout is back to writing/preparing/ and recording their massive batch of brand new material.  We are happy to say that we are no longer searching for a drummer or bass player.  Expect many new things coming from us in the months to come.  For starters, brand new Spout T-shirts will be available on the site this week!  Do check back soon to see these kick-ass new designs.

Spout has been cutting tracks over at the Omni studios (Jewel/Gin Blossoms/Hot Action Cop) with producers Chris Grainger/Russ Long. (Switchfoot/Wilco/Six Pence None The Richer) We've cut 3 tracks so far.  We're shooting a video next month and have got new photos to share with you.  We've been waiting for years for the right team before we started label shopping and now with our wonderful entertainment lawyer and our new management with Hoffman Entertainment, our ducks are almost all in a row and ready to go.  We will keep you posted all summer on how this is going.  We've been rocking to new faces from Cincinnati to Atlanta and hope that our TN crowds will know that we need their support now as much as ever and we miss the hell out of you. :)
