Finally! A new site and a new shirt

It's finally here! We've got a brand new website design up tonight, and I hope you all like it. We streamlined everything so that it'll be easier to get to the cool stuff, like the SPOUTBOARD and the Tour Diary. A lot of sweat, caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, and late late nights went into its construction.

This is only the first of many cool things we've got lined up in the next few months, so come back often, go talk on the SPOUTBOARD, browse the Tour Diary, go streaking through a public place, watch your favorite DVD while cuddling with a mountain goat, eat a bowl of chili in the back of a truck, annoy your neighbors with blaring rock music, vote Democrat or Republican, catch someone with their pants down, learn to drive a boat, drink a whole 12-pack before dinner, send a dirty letter to the CEO of Wal-Mart, go visit an adult bookstore and ask where to find a Bible, send an IM to Mark Foley, smash a guitar, learn how to handle a Cleveland Steamer, sleep on the porch, watch a gruesome zombie movie with your mother, go the wrong way on a one-way street with your horn blaring and your hazards on, ask a cop where to find a donut shop, sneak a bottle of rum into a movie theater, and don't tell anyone where you got the idea!

The long overdue update

Hey there, welcome back to the SPLOG! I know it's been a while since we've talked, but we've been busy here in the SPOUT camp getting ready for the many things we have coming up.

Chad has left us, and we're going to miss him like crazy. But we're still looking to the future. Right now I'm working on a new website design. It's been years since the site got a new look, but we thought that this would be a great time to change things up. I've been learning to use Adobe Illustrator and re-learning Macromedia Flash. For the past couple of weeks I've been knee-deep in vector graphics, ActionScript, hex-based color codes, and hordes of other things that musicians were never designed to understand! In spite of my mental handicap, it's been coming along pretty well and I think you're all going to like the streamlined look.

Also, if you haven't heard by now, I'll let you in on the news: Jenna Jameson's new film, The Provocateur, is going to be featuring eight songs off of What Are You Waiting For? It's her directoral debut and clocks in at 120-minutes. It comes out at the end of this month and we're pretty excited about it. We're even working up a sexy new t-shirt design to commemorate the occasion. Right now there's a plan to have a band viewing of the film, which promises to be full of both off-color jokes and awkward moments. If you're 18 or over, cruise over to their website and look it up. We get our own free copies, but you'll have to get your own if you want to see it!

What do you mean you don't like SPAM?

I've been getting these bizzare day-trader-type SPAM messages for a few weeks now, and although they're mostly useless, I thought it was funny how the names of the emails got more and more bizarre over time. In order, with the oldest one first:

boring
poignant
understatement
time bomb wonderful
pitch
stoned lifestyle
hertz buttercup
Revolutionary War
wept
mist dolly
luster drainage
masochism binding

Party time

You know you're playing at a great party when the police show up. And I don't mean the ones that sing Roxanne.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope yours was as crazy as ours.

We've moved up to snorting alcohol.

I ain't saying we'ze some gold diggers...

Nice Heinies.

The beer was laced!

I'll bet that Chad doesn't know this guy.
A common St. Patrick's Day rationale.
